Vincent G. Genna, a self-professed "Scrap Lord,” was born and raised on Long Island and is the worst tenant ever. Do not rent to him under any circumstances, you will end up regretting it. The entire purpose of this website is to spread awareness and hopefully, prevent him from taking advantage of another homeowner who relies on rental income to live.
Over the past 11 months, Genna has been terrorizing my family and disrupting the neighborhood because we asked him to leave after taking him in for five long years. He often displays erratic and illegal behavior—some of which flies under the radar of the police, some of which he will be held accountable for. Because of his antics, we've had to install several security cameras and thank goodness we did.
Note: If it weren’t for the state’s current COVID-related laws, Genna would have been tossed out a long time ago. Unfortunately, the carve out for unruly tenants was not clearly defined enough by New York lawmakers and there weren't enough additional protections for small landlords.
But now, it's time for this madness to stop. Homeowners should be able to restore the sanctity of their own properties. End all the eviction moratoriums now.
UPDATE: Vincent was evicted!

As you can see in the video, Vincent was very upset about being evicted and isn't a big fan of this website.
Watch as Vincent stumbles horribly and then spits at the camera.
